There are plenty of top-end wide receiver talent available early in the 2024 NFL Draft, but last season’s talent departures hasn’t left college football without big-play threats. In fact, wideout is one of the nation’s deepest position groups and big-play threats are jumping off the page in our offseason review of rosters entering spring practice.
This ranking isn’t to be confused with college football’s top returning wide receivers overall. That’s why a precise route-runner like Ohio State’s Emeka Egbuka or a high volume option like Colorado’s LaJohntay Wester are absent here. The inclusions are specifically big-play threats who have shown a penchant for explosive plays during their careers up to this point.
Other well-known wideouts who narrowly missed this ranking include Stanford’s Elic Ayomanor, Isaiah Bond at Texas, Oregon’s Evan Stewart and Mississippi State’s Kelly Akharaiyi, among others.
