Unless you were a Florida fan or SEC homer (maybe both?), Tim Tebow’s memorable speech and sideline ferocity probably irked you. He was admired by millions of college football fans, but Tebow had just as many doubters too, those who called him a system quarterback and couldn’t wait to see him fail in the NFL. He certainly drew attention for his talent on the field and the way he carried himself off of it. And there might not be a player in college football history who showed the amount of will, determination and leadership as Tebow brought to the SEC. A three-time Heisman finalist, Tebow finished his career at Florida with over 9,200 passing yards, 88 passing touchdowns, 2,947 rushing yards and set records for total touchdowns and total yards in SEC history.
