With the college football transfer portal’s spring window closing on April 30, several high-profile players lead the latest entries this week coming out of spring practice, many making somewhat surprising moves. Colorado freshman Dylan Edwards leaving the Buffaloes is concerning for Deion Sanders heading into his second season at the helm given his play-making abilities and impact on the offense.

Edwards is one of the top speed threats available in a market that’s saturated at the top by offensive and defensive linemen. Edge rushers and quality blockers come at a premium this time of year when much of the moving and shaking in the transfer market was already completed during the winter window.
