Who doesn’t want Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala? That might be an easier question to answer at this point.
Aside of Real Madrid and FC Barcelona, at least four deep-pocketed Premier League clubs want to make a move for Musiala this summer — Arsenal FC, Liverpool FC, Chelsea FC, and Manchester City:
TBR Football’s chief correspondent Graeme Bailey has been informed that Jamal Musiala sees himself playing his football in Spain, with both Real Madrid and Barcelona keeping a close eye on his contractual situation. Meanwhile, Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City are also monitoring whether Musiala will extend his contract beyond 2026, as they have been in regular contact with his representatives to enquire about his plans for the future.
Bayern Munich are extremely concerned about the 21-year-old’s future, as they continue to struggle to tie him down to a brand-new contract, with just 18 months left on his deal. Bayern’s intention was that heading into 2025, Musiala would sign a contract extension, spending the past six months in trying to persuade him to put pen to paper while trying to seal a move for Florian Wirtz.
As of now, it still feels like Musiala will re-up with Bayern Munich and lead the next generation of the club’s attack. However, that does not mean that those aforementioned clubs will not — at least — attempt to lure him away with a lucrative offer.
Could Manchester United convince Tottenham Hotspur star Son Heung-min to change allegiances? Seems like a longshot, but here you go:
Manchester United are planning a move for Tottenham Hotspur captain Son Heung-min when he becomes a free agent in the summer.

Arsenal FC, Liverpool FC, Manchester United, and Paris Saint-Germain are all keeping an eye on former Bayern Munich prospect and current Juventus attacker Kenan Yildiz:
Arsenal, Liverpool, Man Utd and Paris Saint-Germain could all battle for the signature of Juventus forward Kenan Yildiz.
Remember when Marcus Thuram was breaking through with Borussia Mönchengladbach and subsequently landed on Bayern Munich’s radar? Well, now the Inter Milan attacker is drawing interest from Paris Saint-Germain, Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and FC Barcelona:
Marcus Thuram is viewed as a transfer option by Paris Saint-Germain, Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and Barcelona, as per Ekrem Konur. While the 27-year-old has an €85m release clause at Internazionale, the club have no plans to let him go anytime soon. Thuram, 27, has been at the Serie A club since July 2023, scoring an impressive 23 goals in 29 league appearances to date.
Bayern Munich will host RB Leipzig for a Bundesliga showdown that became really important after the Bavarians were knocked off by Mainz 05 last weekend.

Former Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcántara could be headed back to FC Barcelona’s coaching staff:
According to Marca, the 33-year-old could become part of Flick’s backroom team as soon as January after spending a short amount of time in a similar role over the summer following his retirement from playing. Thiago was reportedly hired initially to help Flick achieve a smooth transition (due to his command of German and English) — evidently, he impressed the 59-year-old German coach enough to be brought back into the fold.
Thiago severed his ties with Barca in August after only a month in his new coaching role, reportedly desperate for a fresh challenge after hanging up his boots. However, he looks set to be back on the scene just months later. The final four years of the La Masia academy product’s playing career at Liverpool were hampered by injury, and it appears the experienced international midfielder believes he still has something to offer the game.
Flick’s team of assistant coaches at Barca currently consists of Marcus Sorg, Toni Tapalovic, and Heiko Westermann. It’s unclear exactly where Thiago would slot in here; when he departed the club in the summer he was replaced by experienced youth coach Arnau Blanco and reports suggest Barcelona are happy with the work his replacement has been responsible for, so it doesn’t look like Thiago’s return would threaten his position.
Manchester City is — allegedly — taking a peek at Paul Pogba:
Manchester City are considering a move for former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, according to The Independent. The 2018 FIFA World Cup winner is now a free agent after leaving Juventus in November despite the reduction of his doping ban. Pogba is set to return to football in March, with it now being suggested he is one of the options under consideration by City following their poor run of form. However, the report says that the 31-year-old is reluctant to negotiate with Pep Guardiola’s side due to his strong United connections.
