Derrick Rose gave up his entire 24-25 salary of $3.36 million with the Memphis Grizzlies after he requested he be waived ahead of the start of the preseason, reports ESPN’s Tim MacMahon.
Rose, who is represented by B.J. Armstrong, signed a two-year, $6.5 million deal with the Grizzlies during the 2023 offseason.
Rose appeared in just 24 games last season with the Grizzlies, averaging 8.0 points, 1.9 rebounds and 3.3 assists in 16.6 minutes.
