Bayern Munich coach Vincent Kompany is not going to complain about getting three points like his team did in a 3-0 victory over Werder Bremen.
Rather than focusing on an attacking performance that was referred to as boring or lackluster by some, Kompany wanted to focus on his team’s resilience.
“We had chances in the first half, too, but didn’t take our two-to-three moments. We stayed calm and knew that if we keep up the pressure we’ll find a solution. I’m happy with the performance and result,” Kompany said (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
Kompany will have to try and make some changes — either in personnel, formation, or tactics to try and jumpstart the attacking group. Eventually, the solutions will be harder to find in real-time…against better teams.
