The New York Giants were humiliated at MetLife Stadium on Sunday afternoon, run over by Saquon Barkley and the Philadelphia Eagles, 28-3, in a game that wasn’t that close.
It was a new low for the Giants on offense, having been out-gained by Barkley alone. But that wasn’t the only takeaway from the game as Brian Daboll’s play-calling and gameplan left much to be desired, players were quitting, and the white flag was waived at the start of the fourth quarter.
In all of John Mara’s wildest nightmares, even he couldn’t have envisioned this horror show two weeks before Halloween.
