A DFB Pokal quarterfinal fixture between Borussia Mönchengladbach and 1. FC Saarbrücken – postponed this past Wednesday due to heavy rainfall and a waterlogged pitch – has been rescheduled for March 12th. The German FA confirmed the make-up date for the match on Friday. Kickoff at the Ludwigsparkstadion is scheduled for 20:30 on that particular Tuesday.
Wednesday’s rearranged fixture will not affect the draw for the DFB-Pokal semis, scheduled to take place this Saturday after the 21st match-day’s late kickoff. Other cup semi-finalists FC Kaiserslautern, Fortuna Düsseldorf, and Bayer 04 Leverkusen will lean dates and home-away status of their fixtures. The winner of the final match will advance into a bracket.
