The 2025 Super Bowl is making waves beyond the gridiron, with Donald Trump marking a historic moment as the first sitting president to attend the big game.
The Caesars Superdome heightened its security measures for his arrival, where Trump participated in a meet-and-greet with honorary coin toss participants.
True to form, he didn’t miss the chance to make a bold prediction for Super Bowl LIX, backing the Kansas City Chiefs to secure their third straight championship.
In a conversation with Fox News’ Bret Baier, Trump shared his thoughts on the championship matchup.
While acknowledging both teams’ capabilities, he ultimately threw his support behind Kansas City. His prediction largely centered on Patrick Mahomes’ exceptional talent, though his praise extended beyond the field.
Trump made a point to mention Brittany Mahomes, describing her as a “MAGA fan” and a “great person.”
“I’ve watched this great quarterback, who’s got a phenomenal wife, she is a Trump fan and a MAGA fan, I happen to love her, she’s a great person,” Trump remarked. “I guess you have to say that when a quarterback wins as much as this one [Patrick Mahomes], I have to go with Kansas City. I have to go with Kansas City.”
