Anyone else anxious for the release of EA Sports’ College Football 25 later this summer? The much-anticipated video game that’s making its return after a decade-long hiatus has a few screenshots out of how stadiums will appear in the new game. Thanks to Billy Jones, a journalism student at Missouri, he was able to secure a couple authentic screenshots of the Tigers’ Faurot Field following a Sunshine Law request.

As you can see from the stills, developers have included a level of stadium details we’ve never seen in a college football video game:
After a Sunshine Law Request, I obtained some new renderings for Faurot Field that will appear in the new EA Sports College Football game. The school also sent in gold and black jerseys to EA for development. pic.twitter.com/Rdp26CVOr0

Following last month’s teaser trailer reveal, it’s time to finally get excited about EA Sports’ new rendition of the top-selling title. Updated rosters, uniforms, stadiums, the transfer portal — this is going to have it all, and we’re anxious to see which players are going to be the game’s best later this summer ahead of the 2024 season.
We projected the game’s top 10 players earlier this spring at 247Sports, and like all video game-based ratings systems, we’re going with the widely-accepted categories with our projections — speed, agility, awareness, throw power, accuracy and tackling. There are a number of All-American candidates returning this fall who should appear in this year’s game as long as NIL contracts and the legalities are finalized.
A launch date for the title has not been revealed, but the full game trailer will be released in May, complete with screen shots and gameplay footage from the upcoming release.
The following information is from Brandon Marcello’s previous reporting of EA Sports’ next college football title, due out later this year: EA Sports College Football is built on the Madden engine, but fans should expect tweaks to gameplay, much like previous iterations of the NCAA Football franchise in the 2000s and 2010s.
The game design, atmosphere, and unique traditions for each school are primarily what EA Sports will lean into for the game. That said, the game isn’t simply a reskin of the Madden game.

EA Sports has kept much of its game modes under wraps but the developer will continue “Dynasty” and “Road to Glory” modes, sources told 247Sports in 2022.
