With just 75 days left until the 2024-25 college football season kicks-off here are five quarterbacks with the potential to have a breakout season.
LSU QB Garrett Nussmeier
Nussmeier has been a backup QB at LSU for three years and with the departure of Jayden Daniels, he will finally take over the reins in Baton Rouge.
The Tigers’ wide receiver room will be without star receivers Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr. However, Nussmeier will still have plenty of options as LSU returns Kyren Lacy and Chris Hilton, who both showed flashes last season.
Nussmeier threw for 395 yards and three touchdowns against Wisconsin in the Reli-Quest Bowl last year proving why he is a breakout candidate in 2024.
