Tampa (Fla.) Zephyrhills five-star athlete DJ Pickett, the 247Sports Composite’s No. 1 player in the Sunshine State and No. 7 prospect overall, has locked in four official visits.
LSU leads off the weekend of June 1. Georgia will get Pickett back to campus the weekend of June 7. Miami is good to go on June 14. Oregon will get a return on June 21.
“Those are set in stone,” Pickett’s father Damien said.
In addition to those trips, Pickett is going to take in spring practices at Florida and Florida State. Those two programs still have a chance to rise in Pickett’s recruitment even though they’d didn’t make his recent top five that included the four schools getting officials along with Michigan. Both Will Harris in Gainesville and Pat Surtain in Tallahassee have not let up.
