Jalen Haralson, one of the top prospects in the nation, has locked in three official visits for the fall. The 6-foot-6 forward is ranked No. 14 in the newest class of 2025 rankings update.
Haralson will visit Indiana on August 3, Notre Dame on September 7, and Michigan State on September 14.
Haralson narrowed his list down to nine schools in late March. His final group of schools are Gonzaga, Duke, Missouri, Auburn, Indiana, Notre Dame, Purdue, Kansas and Michigan State.
Haralson is averaging 21.4 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.8 assists with the Indy Heat on the Nike EYBL circuit. Haralson was also a standout at USA Basketball U17 trials over the weekend and 247Sports Director of Scouting Adam Finkelstein had Haralson as one of his top wing standouts at the event.
“Jalen Haralson has been at his best by utilizing his physical tools, specifically his size and strength on the wing while mixing in his ability to handle and play-make at his size,” Finkelstein wrote. “His approach has been great, but he may need to show he can make open shots to earn a spot.”

During this spring’s EYBL circuit, Haralson was one of the main players our scouting team kept an eye on and wrote about.
“Jalen Haralson looked the part for most of the night. He went for 33 points and eight rebounds while helping the Indy Heat knock off Oklahoma-based Team Griffin,” 247Sports Director of Basketball Eric Bossi wrote from the Kansas EYBL. “Pushing 6-foot-7, Haralson used his size, strength and ability to attack off the dribble to cause a lot of problems.
“Haralson has always had all of the physical tools to get a lot done, but has sometimes played a bit passively. This spring he’s been significantly more aggressive on the offensive end and that continued on Friday night. The jump shot remains the biggest area where he can improve but he’s definitely shooting with more confidence than in the past and has a lot of versatility because he can play one through three.”
247Sports National Basketball Scout & Recruiting Analyst Brandon Jenkins added this about Haralson:
“At 6-foot-7 and 210 pounds, Haralson naturally plays a physical style of basketball while initiating an offense. He was constantly on the attack where he drew fouls, found open shooters, or scored through traffic in the lane.
“Additionally, Haralson was a difference-maker on the glass and a threat with his jumper. His shot was falling when he found good opportunities in rhythm. He got to his in-between game and stepped into some good looks from deep playing off the bounce.
“At the game’s end, it seemed as if Haralson was close to running out of gas because he gave a large amount of energy to stuffing the stat sheet. He earned his team a victory and finished with 33 points and eight rebounds to show for it.”
