TAMPA, Fla. — The 247Sports crew including Director of Scouting Andrew Ivins and National Analysts Tom Loy, Mike Roach, and Bud Elliott are currently in the Sunshine State for the OT7 Championship. This event is loaded with talent from the 2025, 2026, and 2027 classes.
On Friday, 247Sports was able to catch up with Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei five-star receiver Chris Henry Jr., arguably the top overall player in the class of 2026. The 6-5, 205-pounder had a strong showing at the Overtime event Friday morning, showing everyone exactly how special he truly is.
Henry has been committed to Ohio State since July 28, 2023. According to Henry, he remains completely locked in with the Buckeyes.
