Bayern Munich’s pursuit of Bundesliga rivals Bayer Leverkusen starlet Florian Wirtz is a very, very open secret. After all, he and current Bayern player Jamal Musiala are currently living up to their years-old billing as Germany’s footballing future. However, what may not have been expected was the close friendship the two would form. Despite only recently becoming regular members of Germany head coach Julian Nagelsmann’s starting XI, the two made it clear how well they connected on and off the pitch on the national level.
So when it comes to uniting the pair at club level, Musiala made it clear that he would not be against such a scenario: “You can see how much fun we have together on the pitch. In the end, it’s Flo’s decision where his future lies,” Musiala declares, via @iMiaSanMia. “And the people in charge at FC Bayern have to decide what they want to do. If he came here, we would have a lot of fun together on the pitch.”
One would imagine Bayern and the fans would share in that fun as well, as the devastating duo have unbelievable potential together. But if it does not work out, the world can at least breathe safe knowing the two will be linking up on national team duty. Because denying the world of the “Wusiala” combo would just be cruel.
