It has been a tough year for Florida State head coach Mike Norvell and the Seminoles and that has unfortunately gotten worse for them on the recruiting trail.
This news is fortunate for the Florida Gators, though, because on Tuesday, Byron Louis, four-star running back from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, flipped his commitment from FSU to Florida.
Louis made a commitment to FSU in September — choosing the Seminoles over Miami, Wisconsin and Georgia — but he took an unofficial visit to Gainesville in mid-November and then followed that up with an official visit the very next weekend.
