The New England Patriots have officially transitioned into a new era.
Bill Belichick’s ways proved to be outdated by the end of his tenure in Foxborough, and team owner Robert Kraft lost his patience.
Belichick, however, is now going to deal with the youth, as he was just appointed as UNC’s new head coach.
He might already have plenty of experience dealing with younger people.
At least, that’s how Rob Ninkovich feels.
In the latest edition of ESPN’s “Get Up,” the former Patriots player took a friendly jab at his former head coach, by stating that he already has plenty of experience recruiting young talent (via Savage Sports).
Rob Ninkovich on Bill Belichick:
“He does have experience recruiting young talent. Just saying. But I won’t get into that one.”

For those who need context, Ninkovich is most likely talking about his relationship with a 24-year-old.
The 72-year-old coach has drawn plenty of mixed reviews, including mockery and jabs, for his relationship with Jordon Hudson.
Of course, they’re both consenting adults, so as big as the age gap is, that should be the end of the story right there.
Then again, that’s now how things work in real life, especially if you’re a celebrity.
The coach has taken all the jokes with a positive attitude, knowing they won’t stop coming anytime soon.
And now that he’s about to be surrounded by people much closer in age to his significant other than to him, it won’t be long before we see many more of these types of jokes flooding social media in the coming days.
