Overland Park (Kans.) Blue Valley linebacker Dawson Merritt picked up an Alabama offer on Wednesday.
“I know about what kind of winning culture Alabama has which brings a crazy feeling to earn a scholarship offer from them,” he said. “Playing for Alabama is stuff you dream about as a kid.”
Merritt hopes to visit the Tide and other programs in the spring but hasn’t locked those in yet.
