Hummer (LSU -2.5) — If there’s an area to take advantage of LSU, it’s a secondary unit that ranks 93rd in opposing passer rating. But Arkansas, with a run-first offense, isn’t really equipped to do so. Arkansas is a tough place to win, and the Razorbacks have a lot of momentum. But I like the Tigers in this one. Garrett Nussmeier continues to play well, and I think LSU found something during the bye week. … LSU 34, Arkansas 31.
Crawford (LSU -2.5) — I’d be nervous as an LSU fan in this one. The Tigers trailed the entire game against Ole Miss before Garrett Nussmeier’s heroics down the stretch propelled LSU to a possible season-saving win. Going on the road in the SEC is a different animal entirely and the Razorbacks are better than expected. There’s a chance Bobby Petrino carves up this LSU defense, but the Tigers are definitely improved under Blake Baker. I’ll go with the more talented team. … LSU 34, Arkansas 27.
