Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna Prep Top100 two-way athlete Derrek Cooper is one of the most talented prospects in the class of 2026. The 6-1, 190-pounder, who is being recruited by many programs as both a safety and running back, is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 28 overall player in the country, the No. 4 athlete in the class, and No. 5 talent in the state of Florida.
Over the weekend, Cooper visited Georgia to watch the Bulldogs take down the Tennessee Volunteers, 31-17. It was a terrific win for head coach Kirby Smart and his team.
Here’s what he said to 247Sports following the visit.
