Twelve of the top 20 quarterbacks in the class of 2025 have committed ahead of their senior seasons, but plenty of action has yet to unfold on the college football recruiting trail. National recruiting analyst Tom Loy provided the latest intel on seven uncommitted quarterbacks in the 2025 cycle and mentioned USC commit Julian Lewis, 2025’s No. 14 overall prospect, as a candidate to flip to Alabama, Georgia or Auburn down the stretch.
Georgia has offers out to 12 quarterback prospects in the class of 2025. Top targets in Bryce Underwoods (LSU) and George McIntyre (Tennessee) are already off the board, but the Bulldogs are in good position with four-star Matt Zollers if Kirby Smart turns his attention from Lewis, according to Loy.
Nebraska landed the No. 2 quarterback in the 2024 cycle and is poised to hit the jackpot again in 2025, per Loy. The Cornhuskers have an edge over Ole Miss and Texas A&M for one of the class’ top signal-callers. Loy said the Aggies have plenty of backup options and also provided the latest intel for Penn State, Florida and South Carolina, among others.
