Death, taxes, and Harry Kane penalty conversions.
The Bayern Munich striker added another 2-for-2 to his tally on Friday in a 3-0 win over SV Werder Bremen. Kane opened the scoring by creating and dispatching the first penalty early in the second half, before finishing off the scoreline with the final action of the game deep into stoppage time.
In between, he got a good look on goal inside the box but scuffed a left-footer wide of the net.
“It was another nice game. There will always be tight games throughout the season, I want to take responsibility and open the game up,” Kane said in typical understated fashion after the match (as captured via @iMiaSanMia). “It’s happened a few times this season which is good. I’m enjoying being out here with the boys. There’s always room for improvement for myself personally, like the one I missed with the left foot today. But it’s always nice to score.”
