Harry Kane got a brace in Bayern Munich’s near capitulation against Holstein Kiel. The game ended 4-3 but could very well have ended up a Kiel draw or win. Speaking after the game, he found out that he hit 55 goals in his first 50 Bundesliga appearances and here’s what he had to say:
“It means I’m doing something right. It’s always expected from a striker to score goals, I’ve been doing it all my career, but I wouldn’t be able to do so without my teammates. Hopefully more to come,” Kane said (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
The 31-year-old striker will welcome this momentum as Bayern head into a difficult stretch of games, including a triple header against Bayer Leverkusen and Celtic in the Champions League. Bayern must sort out their issues immediately if they want to pick up maximum points in all of these games. Their next match will see the Bavarians host Werder Bremen.
