Jacksonville (Fla.) Bolles School Top 100 linebacker Simeon Caldwell is a top prospect in the class of 2026. The 6-3, 185-pounder is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 96 overall talent in the country, No. 7 linebacker overall, and No. 16 recruit in the state of Florida.
Caldwell has over 20 offers to his name. Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Miami, Michigan, Notre Dame, and many others have made it clear he’s high on their list.
“There are athletes that play both sides of the ball, but for me I see myself as a defensive-only athlete,” said Caldwell. “I play safety, outside linebacker, and inside linebacker. It just depends on the situation of the game and the scheme of the other team. I’m used everywhere. Depending on the school, they see me as a safety or a linebacker but right now I’m playing everywhere. If I could play one, I would probably be an inside linebacker. My dad coached inside linebacker in the league so I know all of the ins and outs of the position. Right now, my body is more of a safety body. As I grow and develop, I feel like i can make a home at inside linebacker.”
