Both German transfer expert Florian Plettenberg and Italian transfer guru Fabrizio Romano are currently reporting that TSG 1899 Hoffenheim have beaten out Leicester City in the race to acquire Leverkusen striker Adam Hlozek.
After a Friday medical, Hlozek’s permanent transfer to Kraichgau should be confirmed quickly. The 22-year-old will cost the TSG approximately €17-18 million.
Hlozek is apparently due in Sinsheim on Friday for a medical. Plettenberg speaks of a permanent move for approximately €17-18 million. Romano reports that Hlozek himself nixed a move to the foxes after a loan with a €20 million purchase obligation was agreed to. Hlozek scored seven goals and registered five assists in 36 appearances across all competitions for the league and cup winners last season.
