Are you ready for Conor McGregor vs. Logan Paul? No? Well, you might be getting it anyways.
Sources close to the situation have confirmed to MMAMania.com that talks are indeed underway to have former UFC two-division champion Conor McGregor fight PRIME and Lunchly magnate Logan Paul in India.
Conor McGregor announced the potential fight on X (formerly Twitter), saying he had ‘agreed’ to the bout which he claimed was being arranged by the ultra-wealthy Ambani family. That in and of itself wouldn’t be much proof — “The Notorious” has been announcing fight dates that haven’t materialized for almost two years now as he struggles to pull off ‘the greatest return in sports history.’
But we now have confirmation that the fight was proposed to UFC executives on Friday, December 13th. CEO Dana White teased the bout following UFC Tampa the day after.
“I’ve got something in the works right now, it’ll drive you f—ers crazy,” he declared. “All you guys will be running around. I got something in the works that you will never f—ing see coming for 2025 that literally started to come together last night. Yeah. We we we got some fun stuff coming up.”
How fun you consider McGregor vs. Paul depends on your opinion of sideshow circus fights. After nearly five years of the Paul brothers in combat sports, we are quite sick of it. But you can’t argue against demand: Logan’s brother Jake Paul was just involved in the biggest fight of the year if not decade against Mike Tyson. The only bigger fight possible would be Paul vs. McGregor, according to Jake’s promoter. And now the UFC is sliding in and grabbing that fight with Logan instead of Jake.
Screwing over Jake Paul is probably a nice side-component to this deal for White, who has battled with the younger Paul brother for years. He’s good friends with Logan, though. PRIME is one of the UFC’s major sponsors, and Logan is a big attention-generator for the WWE, which is now owned by UFC parent company TKO.
Now it all makes sense why Conor Mcgregor & his management team have been desperately trying to get MVP to negotiate for a fight between us.
As we told them them privately & I’m now saying it publicly…the only way we’re willing to explore me vs Conor in a pro boxing / mma fight…

As for McGregor, the UFC has been in no rush to get him back in the octagon for whatever reason. Rumors that he’s in no condition to seriously compete at the highest level of the sport are starting to sound more believable.
He’s also one of the few fighters in the world that could potentially upset the iron grip the UFC holds on mixed martial arts (MMA) as a whole. So the UFC seems perfectly content holding the final two final fights of his current contract for as long as possible. This proposed boxing match may not even count towards those!
Whatever the case, this fight is in the process of coming together and could happen relatively fast. Keep it locked to MMAMania.com for more details on Conor McGregor vs. Logan Paul.
