“I was sad,” Jalen said. “As vague of an answer as that is, we have a really close family. That vibe is not something you can buy or just make. Especially with our ages, there’s no real age gap on our team. Everyone is kinda the same age and going through the same experiences together.” Giddey began his career with the Thunder but found his role shift throughout last season and playoffs. The NBA recently closed its investigation into off-the-court activity after being able to find no credible wrongdoing. Jalen explained that playing for the Bulls could represent a fresh start for Giddey. “I think Josh had to go through a lot this year,” Jalen continued. “I was glad we were there and able to help him with all of it and be there with him.
