Having been a part of Bayern Munich’s senior squad for 4 years now, Jamal Musiala is used to the rough and tumble nature of journalistic questions, how they are all designed to create the most juicy headlines. He knows how to deal with it. Yet, it must still be a welcome change of pace to be asked questions by well-meaning kids.
Visiting Bayern’s Kids Club, a group of Bayern fans comprised of children up to 13 years of age, Musiala was subject to the kinds of questions he is perhaps not used to. For example, who are his best friends at Bayern? “I get on well with many of them. I think Phonzy [Davies] has been one of my best friends since the beginning,” the Kids Club captain answers honestly, via @iMiaSanMia. “Leroy [Sane] too. And now Michael [Olise] too. They’re my closest three friends here.”
It was not long before Musiala was asked the same question, but in regards to the national team: “I’m cool with many of them,” Musiala, via @iMiaSanMia, said again. “I’m quite close with Flo [Wirtz], Leroy, Toni [Rüdiger]. I think those are the closest.”
Well, who would not be friends with ‘Bambi’? Certainly, it seems as if the young German is very popular in both of his current teams.
