There is a lot of talk surrounding Deion Sanders right now.
Is there a chance that he could leave Colorado to become the new head coach of the Dallas Cowboys?
Sanders’ former teammate Jason Garrett recently gave some advice to Sanders regarding the head coaching job in Dallas.
“If he wants to do it, he should take it. … He and Jerry [Jones] have a long relationship. … You gotta be able to be honest and direct with each other. … My encouragement to him would be, tell Jerry what you think,” Garrett said, via “The Dan Patrick Show.”

Garrett was head coach of the Cowboys for a decade and guided the team to three NFC East titles.
He also played for the Cowboys from 1993-99 and helped them win two Super Bowls as a backup quarterback.
Few people know the organization better than Garrett, which is why his opinion is certainly valuable in this particular situation.
Sanders joining the Cowboys as head coach would be a wild headline simply because of who he is and what he has done since he became a coach.
He helped turn around both the Jackson State and Colorado programs in just a couple of seasons, which could entice Jones to want to hire the former NFL Defensive Player of the Year and eight-time Pro Bowler.
All Cowboys fans can do right now is wait and hope that the team makes the right decision in the end.
