Being the son of one of the greatest athletes of all time can bring a lot of high expectations. USC WR Brenden Rice, the son of Hall of Fame WR Jerry Rice, knows exactly how that feels.
However, his dad revealed he still needs some humbling from time to time.
“He’s always bragging, he’s always telling me, ‘Hey dad, I’m bigger than you. I’m faster than you,'” Jerry Rice told NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero. “So, I somehow have to bring him back down to earth, and I’ll say something about all my records and stuff like that. Until you break all of my records, you can’t talk that way to me.”
