The 2024 NFL season hasn’t necessarily gone according to plan for the Cincinnati Bengals.
Despite lots of optimism about Joe Burrow and this offense, the Bengals have gotten off to a 1-4 start.
Many analysts believe that the Bengals are a lot better than their record indicates, but at the end of the day, they’re still 1-4.
They will have to work incredibly hard to get back on track, which starts with an important game against the New York Giants this weekend.
The Giants have struggled this year, so it could be a great opponent for the Bengals to make a statement against.
One of the biggest storylines about the Bengals throughout the year has been their wide receiver room.
Ja’Marr Chase had some issues with his contract ahead of the season, and Tee Higgins’ role with the team beyond 2024 is unknown.
Fans were curious to see how Higgins would fit into the offense after missing the first two games of the year with a hamstring injury.
He has bounced back in the past two games, and Joe Burrow recently doubled down on Higgins, as he mentioned in a press conference shared by the team on X.
“Tee Higgins’ body control is elite,” Burrow stated.

Burrow is still locked in with Higgins, even though it might not seem like it.
Higgins did have nine catches for 83 yards and two touchdowns against the Baltimore Ravens last week, a sign that he might be back in full force.
He’ll need to be brilliant moving forward to help the Bengals get back on track and where they want to be in the win/loss column.
