Since landing the Kentucky job ahead of the 2009-10 season, Calipari won a national championship, advanced to a second title game, made four total Final Four appearances and won 30 or more games on five occasions. Early March Madness departures in the last three tournaments, though, are a problematic trend. Losing to Oakland in any context is also a glaring knock against a program as proud as Kentucky.
