With superstar wide receiver Davante Adams getting close to being able to get back on the football field after nursing a hamstring injury, the Las Vegas Raiders could be inching closer to trading the future Hall of Famer, especially with all the interest in his services.
A few notable teams have emerged as potential trade destinations for Adams, with the New York Jets seemingly being the frontrunner right now, with the storied franchise wanting to reunite superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers with his favorite receiver and close friend.
The New Orleans Saints have also been a team linked to Adams, with a similar purpose, as they’d like to bring Adams in to play with Derek Carr again, even though the veteran quarterback is set to miss some time with an injury he suffered on Monday Night Football against the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs.
Another option is the Pittsburgh Steelers, who have been looking for a wide receiver of Adams’ caliber for quite some time, as well as the Buffalo Bills, who don’t have a dependable wideout in the absence of Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis.
Although the Bills could use Adams to give Josh Allen a superstar target downfield, former New England Patriots star Julian Edelman doesn’t think Buffalo should go that route, considering how the Diggs situation panned out via The Herd with Colin Cowherd.
“They just got out of the same situation when they traded Diggs,” Edelman said.

Edelman has a point, as the last thing the Bills want to do while they’re struggling is to bring in a player who can add more drama than production on the football field, even though Adams is still playing at an elite level.
At this point in Adams’ career, he likely wants to be where he wants to be, which means the Jets make more sense than the Bills, but the decision isn’t up to him.
