With South Korea eliminated from the Asian Cup, Kim Min-jae could be in line to return to the Bayern Munich squad for Saturday’s top-of-the-table clash with Bayer Leverkusen.
According to Bild, the central defender will fly back to Munich on Wednesday afternoon, meaning he should be an option for Saturday.
His return would be key, especially given Bayern’s long list of absentees. With Dayot Upamecano, Alphonso Davies and Konrad Laimer sidelined, the Bavarians are currently without three important defensive players.
The South Korea international could replace Eric Dier and play alongside Matthijs de Ligt at the heart of defense.
