Germany has had yet another kit leak in the past days. On top of the leaked 125th anniversary kit, Footy Headlines has now leaked Germany’s 2026 World Cup away kit. Adidas has now dropped excellent kit after excellent kit in recent years for Germany. With their partnership ending in 2026, it is clear both parties want to end on a high. However, the leaked away kit might be a misstep.
Germany’s latest leaked shirt combines a navy base with a mint accent along the neck and sleeves. It appears to be a very simplistic kit with little flair or boldness, apart from the color. Curiously, kits that tend to be this simple almost always use a staple color combination for a clean and sharp look.
Of course, mint green is not a staple color, and certainly not for Germany. Germany has long used green in its away kits, but the use of green has been limited in recent years.
Is this kit a tribute to history with a new fresh update or has it missed the mark? Let us know in the comments!
