Tallahassee (Fla.) James Rickards Top100 defensive lineman Jalen Wiggins has been committed to Florida since Jan. 15. The 6-4.5, 245-pounder from the class of 2025 is an elite defensive prospect ranked No. 56 overall according to 247Sports. He’s also the No. 5 defensive lineman nationally and No. 11 prospect in the state of Florida this cycle. The industry-generated composite team rankings list him at No. 92 overall nationally.
On the recruiting front, schools haven’t stopped recruiting him since his pledge to the Gators. In fact, schools have been pushing even harder for the Sunshine State talent. So, will he stick with his pledge to Florida or flip elsewhere? We’ll know more after his official visits.
