“Rocky” will fight in London again.
Earlier this month, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) announced the promotion will return to The O2 Arena in London, England for a ‘Fight Night,’ which is scheduled for Sat., March 22, 2025.
Today (Nov. 30, 2025), during a DAZN boxing event, former UFC Welterweight champion Leon Edwards revealed he will headline the event.
UFC London will be Edwards’ fifth consecutive main event and the seventh time “Rocky” has fought in England. The former champion headlined The O2 arena against Kamaru Usman at UFC 286 – winning a majority decision.
Edwards did not reveal who he would be fighting.
Several options exist, with the Welterweight division being red hot and full of new contenders. The most obvious choice would be the loser of next week’s UFC 310 co-main event between Shavkat Rakhmonov vs. Ian Garry. Both fighters have been linked to Edwards for better or worse.
Other options are No. 4 ranked Sean Brady and No. 5 Jack Della Maddalena—both of whom do not have opponents at the moment. No. 9 ranked Joaquin Buckley, who clashes with Colby Covington at UFC Tampa later this month, is another option.
Of course, Edwards could welcome Jorge Masvidal back to UFC as well.
