Fly-half Lloyd Evans has left Gloucester to join an unnamed United Rugby Championship club.
The 28-year-old, who can also operate at full-back, was born in Gloucester, is a product of the club’s academy and has made almost 100 senior appearances for the Cherry and Whites.
He made 11 appearances last season, including in the Premiership Rugby Cup final triumph against Leicester, but is moving on in search of more regular playing time.
“Lloyd’s been around the club for a long time and I’ve always appreciated his commitment and willingness to turn out wherever necessary for the team,” said Gloucester director of rugby George Skivington. , external
“We’re well stacked at fly-half and full-back next season, with Santi Carreras, Gareth Anscombe, Charlie Atkinson and George Barton all able to cover both positions.
