Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) American Heritage Top 100 quarterback Dia Bell committed to Texas on June 17. The 6-2, 200-pounder from the class of 2026 chose the Longhorns over offers from Auburn, Penn State, Miami, Florida State, and many others.
After completing 122 of 189 passes for 1,929 yards, 20 touchdowns, and only 4 interceptions this past fall, Bell is looking to take things up a notch as a junior. However, what he’s done to this point has earned him an impressive ranking by 247Sports. Bell is listed No. 21 overall nationally, No. 4 at his position, and No. 4 overall in the state of Florida.
Texas landed one of the nation’s premier signal-callers regardless of class and he’s fired up about his future in Austin.
