Following the news that LVMH has joined Formula 1 as a Global Partner for ten years from 2025, the sport welcomes Louis Vuitton as an Official Partner of Formula 1, bringing together two of the world’s most recognisable brands, known for their innovation and excellence. Louis Vuitton’s entry into Formula 1 marks a new era of luxury and prestige within the sport.
Louis Vuitton will be the Title Partner for the season’s first race in Melbourne, which will be named the Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Australian Grand Prix 2025. This landmark partnership reinforces Louis Vuitton’s deepening ties with the motorsport world, showcasing its craftsmanship and exclusivity heritage. The French House will fully immerse in the races, featuring prominent trackside signage, a first for Louis Vuitton at a sporting event. Additionally, Louis Vuitton will play a pivotal role in celebratory moments, from the opening ceremony to the podium, where its famous Louis Vuitton Trophy Trunks will take centre stage, honouring the top three drivers’ achievements. The newly designed Trophy Trunks, covered in the emblematic Monogram, will feature the iconic “V” in a distinctive local colour scheme against the classic brown background for each race.
Louis Vuitton has already established a prestigious connection with Formula 1 through its partnership with the Automobile Club de Monaco, where it developed and presented the first Trophy Trunk for the Formula 1 Grand Prix de Monaco™ between 2021-2024. This symbol of triumph has since extended across some of the world’s most esteemed sports competitions, including football, sailing, and the Olympics. The expansion of LV’s presence in Formula 1 underscores the brand’s commitment to celebrating victory and performance on a global stage.
