When the average college football fan thinks about the LSU football program, head coach Brian Kelly is undoubtedly the top name that comes to mind.
Kelly, with his $95M contract, is the face of that program, but it takes more than just a head coach to keep a machine like LSU football moving. Kelly’s coaching staff, recruiting staff and operations personnel also play a major role.
On that front, LSU is giving a big promotion to one staffer. JR Belton is reportedly being named LSU’s new director of football operations in Baton Rouge.
