Heading into Week 14 of the 2024 NFL season, the Cincinnati Bengals and Dallas Cowboys are two teams that had Super Bowl aspirations but have failed to live up to expectations.
Now, the two squads are set to do battle on “Monday Night Football.”
Although the playoffs are likely out of the question for both the Cowboys and Bengals, these two popular teams will not be going down without a fight, as they want to finish the campaign on a strong note with as many wins as possible.
Ahead of the showdown, which could’ve been a Super Bowl preview at one point, Cowboys pass rusher Micah Parsons had nothing but high praise for Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow, who is having an incredible season despite his team’s record.
“If Joe Burrow’s record is the opposite, he’ll be the leading runner for MVP, you know what I’m saying? I still think he should be the MVP,” Parsons said, via Todd Archer of ESPN. “I mean, he’s leading in passing yards, passing touchdowns. The year he’s having, it’s like Joe Burrow at LSU. I think that’s what a healthy Joe Burrow looks like.”

Clearly, Parsons isn’t taking this matchup and the challenge of facing Burrow lightly, as he has nothing but respect for what his opponent is capable of on the football field.
The Cowboys will play this home game as the betting underdogs, as the consensus seems to be that Parsons and company won’t be able to stop the high-powered Cincinnati offense.
