Minnesota pulled off a big home win over No. 11 USC on Saturday night. The Gophers punched it in late in the 4th quarter to seal the victory. The students stormed the field and recruits who wree there were treated to that environment.
“Minnesota beating USC was big time,” said four-star junior athlete Jayden McGregory out of Iowa. “It was a close game the entire game, but seeing Minnesota pull it through in the end shows the kind of message coach (PJ) Fleck is sending and that is Minnesota can compete with the big-named schools. Going for it on fourth and-1 twice is dedication and that is exciting football.”
Brandon Valley (S.D.) junior defensive lineman Hudson Parliament is another top 2026 target of the Gophers. He was offered in May and returned again on Saturday.
