The Missouri Tigers got one of the most intriguing players in the transfer portal on Wednesday when it was announced that Ahmad Hardy will be playing football next season in Columbia.
Hardy is a 5-foot-10, 205-pound running back from Monticello, Mississippi, who played football for the UL Monroe Warhawks this past season, and he was simply incredible.
He put up 1,351 yards and 13 touchdowns as a true freshman for the Warhawks, averaging 5.7 yards per carry. Hardy was ranked No. 12 in all of college football in total yards as well as rushing yards per game (112.58).
He was easily the nation’s best freshman running back, and now he’ll be playing for one of college football’s most intriguing up-and-coming head coaches in Eli Drinkwitz.
