The New York Giants will hold their mandatory minicamp from Tuesday, June 11 through Wednesday, June 12 and then the team will break for summer. They’ll return in late July for training camp, at which point coaches will need to start thinking about the 53-man roster.
Currently, the Giants have a total of 91 players on their roster (one on an exemption), so 37 players will eventually have to be cut, waived, released, placed on injured reserve (IR) or the physically unable to perform (PUP) list.
Once tight end Darren Waller officially files his retirement paperwork with the NFL, the Giants’ roster will drop to 90 players (one with an exemption).
With all of that in mind, here’s a Giants 53-man roster prediction ahead of mandatory minicamp.
