As captured by @iMiaSanMia, Bayern Munich CEO Christian Dreesen has announced that the post-game celebrations and Christmas Party have been cancelled “following today’s Christmas Market attack in Magdeburg.”
The tragic incident overshadows Bayern Munich’s dazzling 5-1 victory against visitors RB Leipzig. At the time of this writing, at least two have been killed, with 68 people reportedly injured after a car was driven into a crowd at the German Christmas Market.
Our hearts go out to the families of the deceased and the affected.
