TAMPA, Fla. — The 247Sports crew including Director of Scouting Andrew Ivins and National Analysts Tom Loy, Mike Roach, and Bud Elliott are currently in the Sunshine State for the OT7 Championship. This event is loaded with talent from the 2025, 2026, and 2027 classes.
On Friday, 247Sports was able to catch up with Jacksonville (Fla.) Mandarin five-star receiver Jaime Ffrench. The elite talent has been strongly considering Texas, LSU, Miami, Tennessee, and Ohio State for quite some time. The latest buzz has him trending toward the Longhorns, but he made it clear that there isn’t a single school on top as of today.
“No sir,” said Ffrench, when asked if he has a leader at this time. “I did last week, but doing that really messes it up. Having a structure is great, but it changes. I have a solid group, but it changes and varies. I do have a group that is the best, the ones that are my leaders.”
