According to a report from Sport Bild’s Christian Falk (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich is pumping the brakes on selling Kingsley Coman during the winter transfer window.
There was some thought that the club would be looking to find the Frenchman a new home, but that appears to have gone by the wayside:
Bayern have decided that Kingsley Coman is not for sale in January. The club is determined to keep the Frenchman for the second half of the season in order not to jeopardize their goals for this season. Coman’s situation will be reassessed in the summer.
With the way injuries have impacted the squad this season, it is not a shock to see that Bayern Munich opted against a player sale. However, that does not necessarily mean that Coman will be safe next summer.
The winger could still be in the mix to be sold off in July.
