Oregon is set to again be without two of its top players.
Ducks star EDGE Jordan Burch and standout tight end Terrance Ferguson are expected to miss No. 1 Oregon’s game against No. 20 Illinois today, a source tells 247Sports and CBS Sports.
Burch, a potential early-round NFL draft pick, had five sacks in the Ducks’ first five games but has been out since suffering an injury two days before Oregon’s Oct. 11 win over Ohio State. This will be his third straight missed game.
Meanwhile, it will be the second straight missed game for Ferguson. He has 111 career catches and 13 career touchdowns and posted 20 catches for 321 yards in the Ducks’ first six games.
Oregon enters the matchup against the 6-1 Fighting Illini as a 22.5-point favorite. After Illinois, the Ducks travel to face Michigan next week.
