Projected to go inside the top 10 throughout the season, Bowers’ draft grade seem to be settling around the middle of the first round. As a tight end, however, he’s going to go to a team based on need here regardless of his talent level. On the shelf for a few weeks this season after tightrope ankle surgery, it didn’t look like Bowers has missed a beat since his return. His full talent was on display against Georgia in the SEC Championship Game. He sat out the Bulldogs’ win over the Seminoles in the Orange Bowl.
